Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and STANOK LLP, registered in England and Wales, with registered office at Stoney Works, 8 Stoney Lane, London, United Kingdom SE19 3BD ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing or using https://7zap.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

1. The Service

The Service provides access to automotive parts catalogs, VIN decoding tools, diagrams, part numbers, fitment data, technical information, database structures, and related content (the "Service Content"). The Service is intended for users aged 18 or older.

2. Intellectual Property and Database Protection

All Service Content, including (without limitation) catalog structures, data compilations, part numbers, VIN decoding results, diagrams, fitment data, database organization, and search logic, is the intellectual property of the Company and/or its licensors and is protected by copyright, database rights, and other applicable laws.

You may access Service Content solely within the functionality of the Service and only for its intended purpose. You may not:

copy, reproduce, distribute, or display Service Content in whole or in part;
extract data manually or through automated or semi-automated means;
store Service Content outside the Service;
create or maintain databases, directories, or information resources based on Service Content;
systematically request, retrieve, or review data for accumulation purposes;
reuse data outside the Service functionality;
use Service Content to create competing products or services.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Registration Data

When registering, you must provide your real name and a valid email address. You may not:

register under false or fictitious names;
use third-party personal data;
use disposable, temporary, or technical email addresses created to bypass Service restrictions.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts containing inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete registration information.

3.2 Personal Account

Each account is personal and intended for use by one individual only. You may not:

share login credentials with third parties;
allow multiple persons to use one account;
sell, transfer, or assign accounts;
use an account jointly (including within a team or organization).

Each user must maintain their own account.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.

4. Free Plans

Free plans are strictly for personal use in relation to your own vehicle. Free plans may not be used for commercial activity, including parts selection for third parties, use by workshops, dealers, retailers, intermediaries, or for systematic data retrieval. We may restrict or terminate free accounts used outside personal purposes.

5. Paid Plans

Paid plans may be used for professional purposes provided that:

use relates to specific customer requests;
Service Content is used solely as a parts selection tool;
data is not accumulated or extracted for independent use;
use complies with the intended purpose of the Service.

Paid plans do not grant API access, bulk data rights, or the right to create or maintain databases using Service Content. Excessive or data-extractive use may result in restriction, suspension, or termination. Refunds for paid subscriptions are governed by the Return and Refund Policy.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

use bots, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, headless browsers, API emulators, or similar tools;
perform repetitive or bulk actions aimed at data extraction or accumulation;
circumvent, attempt to circumvent, or interfere with technical protections or usage limits;
create multiple accounts to bypass limits or restrictions;
re-register after account suspension or termination;
test, probe, or analyze internal limitations of the Service;
transfer obtained data to third parties;
use the Service for data mining, data harvesting, or commercial data extraction;
use the Service to compete with the Company.

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes excessive, abnormal, or abusive usage. We are not obligated to disclose internal thresholds, monitoring methods, or detection criteria. Any attempt to use the Service for systematic part identification, VIN decoding, or data accumulation across multiple vehicles beyond normal usage patterns may be considered abusive use.

7. Circumvention and Multi-Account Prohibition

You may not create multiple accounts to bypass limitations, nor create a new account after termination without our permission. We may identify and block related accounts based on technical or behavioral indicators.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled by the User.

Subscription cancellation must be performed exclusively through the self-service subscription management interface available in the user dashboard. A link to this interface is provided in the dashboard. Cancellation via email, support requests, or any other communication channels is not considered valid. The Company does not provide manual subscription management or cancellation assistance. All subscription actions must be performed by the User through the available Service functionality.

The Company is not responsible for renewal charges if the subscription was not canceled through the designated self-service functionality prior to the renewal date.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:

the Service is provided as a digital product with immediate access;
subscription renewal is automatic;
it is your responsibility to manage and cancel your subscription;
all payments, including renewals, are governed by the Return and Refund Policy.

Users are responsible for reviewing the Return and Refund Policy before completing a purchase. Pricing and plan features may change over time.

9. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor usage and enforce these Terms, including by restricting access to specific features, suspending accounts, terminating accounts without notice, blocking IP addresses, and pursuing legal remedies.

The Company reserves the right to restrict or deny further access to the Service for users who have received a refund, particularly in cases where usage of the Service is detected after the refund request.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion and without prior notice. If your account is terminated, you may not create a new account without our permission.

11. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE ACCESS.

The Service provides access to one of the most extensive OEM automotive data collections available. However, we do not guarantee that any specific VIN can be successfully decoded, or that complete and exact vehicle configuration data will always be available. Due to differences in manufacturer data availability, regional variations, and limitations of original sources, some VINs may be partially decoded or not decoded at all. Users acknowledge that full VIN coverage across all vehicles worldwide is not technically possible.

The Service allows limited VIN decoding functionality within the free plan, enabling users to evaluate the Service before purchasing a subscription. Use of the Service is at the User's own discretion, and purchasing a subscription does not guarantee successful decoding of any specific VIN.

The Service is provided as a decision-support tool and does not replace professional verification where required.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU DURING THE ONE (1) MONTH PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service.
